Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my upcoming books!
The ‘Acts’ series will follow J and Natalie through three years of navigating their clandestine time together as friends and lovers. Each book sheds new light on their roller coaster of a journey, unfolding the map of intricate alleyways that weave through their hearts.
The Game is the early title given to a two-part full-length collaboration I have going on with talented writer Nathan Reynolds and I am SUPER excited about this project! It’s still in its infancy, but Nathan is a genius when it comes to writing elegant and insanely steamy BDSM scenes, so hang on to your hats!
On a personal level, writing these books has been an adventure of love and madness. I have felt passionately dedicated to this couple at times, and have considered killing both of them out of frustration along the way. (And I’m not done with book three, so there’s still time!) But not for anything would I change this path that chose me.
Release dates haven’t been set yet, but early 2021 for book one is my best guesstimate. As soon as I get a more firm idea, I promise you’ll be the first to know!
Act’s Series
If you’ve read the Acts Series, you know that music is a big part of J and Natalie’s relationship. Authors sometimes get stuck on a piece of the book they’re writing, and I believe it’s during those times when small snippets of our own lives filter into the story. When we don’t know where to turn, we turn to what we know, right?
As I was starting out with Acts of Closure, I listened to a lot of music. I found inspiration in the lyrics and emotions evoked by certain songs. Not all of them made their way into J and Natalie’s story, but a lot did. Sometimes as background music, sometimes as a third entity in a scene. Oftentimes the significance is clear in the lyrics, but not always. At any rate, there’s a reason for all of it.
I no longer listen to music while I write, but I do occasionally stop what I’m doing to play a song I feel is inspirational to a scene I’m writing. J even makes a comment in Acts of Commitment about having music on at his house all the time because he draws inspiration from it. Write what we know…right?
After Acts of Closure was released, some readers who recognized the importance of the music asked for a playlist, but I decided to wait until the series was complete to share the whole list with you. So, here it is, in order of appearance throughout each book. The music that accompanied J, Natalie, and myself on this journey – The Acts Series Playlist.
Read the books, have a listen, and please reach out with any comments or questions. I love to hear from the readers!
The Game
The Game is the early title given to a two-part full-length collaboration I have going on with talented writer Nathan Reynolds and I am SUPER excited about this project! It’s still in its infancy, but Nathan is a genius when it comes to writing elegant and insanely steamy BDSM scenes, so hang on to your hats!
The storyline will follow Kate and Daniel through a background of their individual lives until they meet under an unusual circumstance. His Dom to her sub turns out to be a perfect fit, but it was never their intention to become involved. So, what happens next?
Well, you’ll have to wait to find out! I’ll be updating this section as we move forward with the writing of these books, but I have to ask for your patience with it. Nathan and I both have separate projects that we’re working on, and while The Game has been started, we’re dedicating most of our time to buttoning up our respective writing before going full time with this one.
Our anticipation is that we’ll be ready to give it the attention it deserves by early 2021. In the meantime, we’re having fun holding creative meetings about it and fleshing out the finer details. All of my Doms and subs here can read into that what they wish!
This page would be remiss without a big thank you to Nathan for entering into this endeavor with me. When I first read his BDSM scenes, I just knew a story needed to build around them. Instead of running with it on his own, he graciously invited me to join him on the journey, and I couldn’t be more honored to have a place in this work. Or more grateful for this partnership.
